I'M DONE!!!!!!

This morning at approximately 1:44 a.m. a miracle happened....I, Mandy Rhodes, finished my very last homework assignment ever!!!!!!!!!! Words cannot explain the happiness, joy, excitement, and relief that I am currently feeling! I never thought this day would come....maybe because I've gone to school ever since I can remember, and now I finished my last homework assignment that I will ever do. I will be graduating in a little less that 4 weeks....and I am so excited to have finally reached my educational goal of a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. I remember when the Donais' (my practically sisters) would graduate from high school and college I would tell them that that day would never come to me. They would always tell me that it would come faster than I thought...and looking back it has come fast. I can't believe that I am practically done.

Now to explain this homework project: I started this project in January/February. This is my Teacher Work Sample from my student teaching experience. In it is a unit plan that I taught my first grade class on plants. For each lesson I taught I had to have some kind of assignment and then for each assignment I had to make graphs/charts to explain how each student learned from the lesson I taught. Then I had to write a reflection for each lesson that I taught saying that I felt that I should have done this and that better, and that I could have reached this and that student better if I had done something better. I figure I spent around 30 hours on this assignment. After spending all of my time on it lately, I finished it at 1:44 am on April 12th. This is my final homework assignment for my whole educational experience!!!!

I know it doesn't look that big...but that is a 2" 3 ring binder. I don't know how many pages it is, but I do know that I stopped counting after I used 100 sheet protectors with 2 sheets of paper in most of the sheet protectors....just stuffing the pages seemed to take ions!
This is me being excited that I finished my last homework assignment ever!
Andy was cute and stayed up and waited for me. He said that he knew if he went to bed that I would be so excited that I finished my final homework assignment that I would probably be dancing around (which I may or may not have done Ü) because I was so happy that I would wake him up. So we had a little celebration at 1:50 am celebrating this momentous occasion!
