So one of my New Year's Resolutions is to blog more. I am pretty sure that only my Grandma reads my blog. But I think she enjoys it enough that I will do my best to blog more.
2012 was an adventurous year for us. Here is our year:
January - We started house hunting. Andy started going to school online through UVU. He is graduating this coming up Spring with his Bachelor's in Emergency Management.
February - We house hunted a lot this month, started putting down offers, and then had exciting times getting inspections done, mortgages written, etc. We got put in Primary together with our friends Lafe and Tiffany.
March - Andy turned 29 on the 4th. We closed on our new house on March 6th. We worked on cleaning the house and getting it ready to move in.
April - We moved into our house on April 14th. That same day, my car died a miserable death. We spent a week trying to get it fixed, but it was really messed up....not worth fixing. We got our puppy Lucy on April 21st. Then on April 23rd, we bought a new car, it's a Kia Sorento. We both LOVE IT!
May - This month we also met new people in our neighborhood, and ward. We also got put in as cub scout leaders for the 3rd time in 3 wards in 3 years in our new ward. We love living here!
June - Tony (Andy's brother) and Becca were married on June 21st. We got to do a few things to help with that. This month we also said goodbye to Nick, Kim, and my friend Ashley who moved away to have more adventures.
July - We worked hard on our house and yard. We still have lots to go!
August- I went back for my third year of teaching. I am teaching First grade and love it!
September - We got to go to Tuachan and see Aladdin and Hairspray. Both shows were AMAZING! We also got to go to California for 24 hours to see my cousin get married. I am glad we could go.
October - I officially became a real adult (25 years old) on October 12th. Andy got put in the Sunday School Presidency to work with the youth.
November - We celebrated our 4th anniversary on November 8th. I got put in the Primary Presidency and am the counselor over Cub Scouts. Really I can't get away from it. :-) We also got to spend some time with our families around Thanksgiving.
December - We got released from being Cub Scout leaders. We enjoyed the holidays and got to spend some time with both of our families again. Andy was hoping to have 2012 go out with a bang, so he got in an accident on Friday. He was T-boned by a guy who was pulling out of the parking lot. We are not sure if our Pontiac Vibe is totalled yet, but it's not looking hopeful. We should find out by tomorrow or Thursday. So we might be able to start the new year with a new car payment. Lucky us! :-)
Overall 2012 was a great year for us. We learned a lot, we played a lot, and we again realized how blessed we are. HAPPY NEW YEAR!
