GOOD NEWS!!!

So we've had a few exciting things happen lately. Here is a quick update of our lives for the past little while....

1. I (Mandy) passed the PRAXIS Test. For those of you who don't know what the PRAXIS is....it is a test that all Education Majors have to pass before you can graduate from college. There is also a second test that I will have to take within my first 3 years of teaching, but we're just glad to get the first one out of the way!!! It was a 2 1/2 hour test and you had to get 150 out of 200 to pass. I got 165!!! Glad to have that stressor off my shoulder

2. One more week of classes!!! Finals start this Friday....yuck! My last final is on April 29 and then we will both enjoy a lovely summer of no school!!! YAY!!!!

3. Our families both came to visit last weekend. Andy's family came down for Easter weekend. We got to spend a lot time with them and had a great time! My family was able to stop in St. George for a night on the way home from Disneyland (they went there without us...sad day!!!). We had a lot of fun with them. We even got to dye easter eggs with my family

4. Andy randomly found $111 yesterday that he'd forgotten about....I love blessings from paying tithing!!!

5. Last, but not least, WE ARE BUYING A HOUSE!!!!! Actually it's a condo here in St. George but we are super excited. We close on April 29th. We've been looking at houses for a while now and decided that we couldn't pass up this deal. We are paying $100,000 for a 3 bedroom 2.5 bath 1720 sq ft. condo with a 2 car garage. We are so excited. The bank is even paying our closing costs...so we got a smokin' deal!!!! We have to be completely moved out of our apartment by May 5 .....so hopefully the closing will go how it needs to...or we will be homeless.

Life has been very good to us!! We are so grateful for all of our blessings!!!
